Well, it’s here. 2017. It feels like we just started 2016, but somehow it seems to have flown by (and taken some of my favorite celebrities with it).
While I’m excited for all the new and wonderful things coming in 2017, 2016 was kind of a big year for TheDisneyChef.com. I very recently added my 200th recipe, we’re nearing 10,000 followers on Instagram and we’re also flirting with 20,000 on Facebook, and last year we had well over 1 million visitors.
Can you guys believe it? 1 million visitors! That’s twice the number of people who live in Vermont. It’s crazy to think so many people come through this site, but it’s also very humbling. Thank you so much you guys!
So I was curious… What exactly were those 1 million readers coming here to find? Was it recipes? Was it vacation tips or restaurant reviews?
It turns out it was a little bit of everything, so here’s a quick snapshot of the most read articles on TheDisneyChef.com in 2016.
Apparently, you guys really like your snacks… This was the most read and shared article of 2016:
And you guys like your Dole Whips:
You guys couldn’t get enough of the perfect cornbread or its mystery ingredient:
For the third year in a row, this is in the top 5:

Look familiar? This recipe was featured on People Magazine’s website:
Considering how popular Dole Whips are, it wasn’t a surprise to see the Dole Whip Floats would be popular too:
But I was surprised to see how much love the french fries got:
This one got super popular in December, for some strange reason…
I’ll toast to this list and judging by the 10th most popular post of the year, you guys will too:
Thank you for a wonderful 2016 and I can’t wait to share more Disney magic with you all throughout 2017!
